Joy Displaced Depression

I became depressed as a young adult. I also began to suffer in addiction around the same time.

After 35 years in darkness and sparse moments of clarity, I found myself free from depression only I couldn’t really tell. I wasn’t expecting it, and I thought my condition was normal. What happened? It was a perfect storm of love and goodness from God.
